Most cleaning services in Savannah won’t publish their prices. You fill out a form, wait for a callback, and get a quote that varies depending on who answers the phone. This post does the opposite, here are exact prices for every service type, by bathroom count, so you can make a real decision before picking up the phone.
What house cleaning costs in Savannah, at a glance
Savannah cleaning prices run higher than national averages you’ll see on sites like HomeAdvisor. There are two reasons: the coastal environment (humidity, salt air, and mildew require more thorough work) and labor costs in a growing market. Live Oak prices by bathroom count, not square footage — here’s the starting rate for each service:
These are Live Oak’s published rates as of July 2026. Recurring plans are flat rate by bathroom count. Deep, Move-In, and Move-Out cleans are priced by labor hours at $60/hour, with one labor hour added per bathroom. Most Savannah operators don’t publish their prices, which makes comparison difficult. We publish ours so you can decide without a sales call.
Recurring cleaning prices in Savannah
Recurring service is typically the most cost effective way to keep a Savannah home clean. The more frequently you schedule, the lower the per visit rate, because a home that’s cleaned weekly takes less time per visit than one cleaned monthly. Live Oak prices recurring plans by bathroom count — the base rate covers a 1-bathroom home, and each additional bathroom adds $30 per visit.
The biweekly plan is where most Savannah households land. It hits a practical balance, frequent enough that nothing gets out of hand, but not so often it feels like someone’s always coming through. Homes with kids or pets usually do better on weekly.
Deep cleaning prices in Savannah
A deep clean is a top to bottom reset: grout scrubbed, appliances degreased, baseboards wiped, ceiling fans dusted, and everything touched that a standard recurring clean skips. It’s the right service when you’re starting fresh, preparing for guests, or haven’t had professional cleaning in a while.
One labor hour means one cleaner working for one hour. Two cleaners working 2.5 hours together = 5 labor hours.
If you’re starting a recurring plan, most services (including Live Oak) will ask you to begin with a deep clean. This brings your home to a consistent standard before the regular schedule begins, so every subsequent visit is maintaining a clean home, not recovering one.
Move-in / move-out cleaning prices in Savannah
Move-in and move-out cleans are priced the same way as a Deep Clean — by labor hours at $60/hour, with the bathroom count setting the minimum. They’re typically done on vacant homes and go deeper than a standard clean (inside cabinets, inside appliances, every drawer and closet).
Example: a 2-bathroom move-out clean is 6 labor hours at $60/hour = $360. That’s two cleaners working three hours together, or one cleaner working six hours. A 4-bathroom home is 8 labor hours = $480. Homes in notably rough condition may take longer — that’s always confirmed before work begins.
Add-ons
Live Oak offers optional add-ons you can request at booking or on the day of your clean. Add-ons don’t carry fixed line-item charges — they extend the labor time on your visit. Any labor beyond the visit’s standard scope is billed at $60 per labor hour, and we always confirm before going over.
- Inside refrigerator (client empties first)
- Inside oven
- Interior windows
- Laundry (wash & fold)
- Bed linen change
- Pet hair (heavy shedding)
For Move-In / Move-Out cleans, refrigerators must be emptied by the client before we arrive. If a fridge needs to be emptied on our end (contents bagged and photographed), that’s a separate service requiring prior authorization.
Why Savannah costs what it costs
A few things drive Savannah cleaning costs above national averages you’ll see on cost estimator sites:
Coastal humidity and salt air. Homes near the water, Wilmington Island, Isle of Hope, Tybee Island, Skidaway, deal with accelerated mildew in bathrooms, salt buildup on surfaces, and hard water staining that inland homes simply don’t have. Doing that work right takes more time.
Historic homes. Savannah’s Historic District and Ardsley Park have beautiful older homes with detailed woodwork, older flooring, and finishes that need careful handling. That care is priced into what you pay.
Insurance, vetting, and reliability. Legitimate cleaning services carry insurance, run background checks, and have processes in place. That costs money. The cheapest options you see on platforms like TaskRabbit typically aren’t carrying insurance, which matters if something gets damaged in your home.
What to watch for when comparing prices
Most Savannah cleaning services won’t publish prices online. That’s not an accident, it allows them to quote higher for homes that seem like they can pay more, or lower to win the initial booking and raise prices later. A few things to ask before committing:
- Is this flat rate or hourly? Hourly pricing means a slow cleaner costs you more.
- What happens if I’m not satisfied? A clear re-clean guarantee matters.
- Will I get the same team each visit? Inconsistency is the most common complaint about cleaning services.
- Are cleaners background checked and insured? If not, you carry the liability.
What Live Oak charges, and why we publish it
We’re the only Savannah cleaning service that publishes its full rate card online. We do it because most homeowners trying to budget for cleaning shouldn’t have to fill out three forms and wait for callbacks to figure out if they can afford the service. You can see every price on our Get Started page before you book.
If you want to see your exact price by bathroom count and frequency, the calculator on our recurring cleaning page shows it in under a minute.
